Date 2004-01-13 04:21:22
The event is organized by Roma Information Project, RIP is a unique and innovative project that for the first time brings information technology to Roma NGOs in a coordinated, sustained and far reaching way, in joint collaboration with Interspace - New Media Art Center. InterSpace was founded in 1998 as a non-profit organization, an artist-run space of professional artists, curators, web designers and technical experts. They are currently running an ambitious two year eRider program to bring technology to NGOs in Bulgaria.
The training aims at providing the team of Roma Information Project to develop and improve RIP’s skills in designing websites as well as using the Open source applications in their work throughout six countries from Central and Eastern Europe.

Vladimir, You forgot to mention the date (Feb 18th). I would like to come along to this and will be in Sofia then. I spend part of my time in the UK where I am an IT worker for a non-profit organisation and part of my time in Sofia where I founded Internet Rights Bulgaria (see www.socialrights.org). I have recently started becoming involved in Circuit Riders in the UK and would like to know about eRider developments in Bulgaria. regards, Chris Bailey
